About us

We are taking edge multi‑agent systems to the next level. We’re building the next generation of smart homes functioning locally, centered around privacy and data‑driven adaptation. Our “home brain” understands your routines, coordinates devices, and proactively helps you in everyday life, while ensuring no data is sent to the cloud.

Our system combines:

  • A multi‑agent AI orchestration layer
  • A voice‑first assistant
  • A world‑model view that represents your house digitally
  • Sensors and smart devices

…to create a home that feels more like “Jarvis” than a collection of disconnected gadgets. We’re a small, fast‑moving team obsessed with great experiences, reliability, and keeping users in full control of their data.

Role overview

We’re looking for a part‑time UX/UI Designer for a 3‑month mission to shape the first versions of our user experience:

  • The smart home web app (onboarding, control, monitoring, and configuration)
  • Our marketing website and product storytelling

This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys starting from a blank canvas and talking directly to users. You’ll work closely with the founders and engineering team to design flows, interfaces, and “living” visual elements that make interacting with the home system intuitive, delightful, and sticky.

What you’ll work on

Product & Web Experience

  • Design Figma boards, flows, and UX for our smart home web app
  • Improve and extend the UX of our existing marketing website
  • Create animations, micro‑interactions, and visual assets to better tell our product story

Sticky Interfaces & Experiences

  • Explore ways to make the UI sticky and engaging over time (light gamification, rituals, progressive discovery, etc.)
  • Help define and design a “home character” / avatar that can live across screens
  • Prototype interactions where the house feels alive and responsive (e.g., TV shows Auri’s avatar when you speak), without being intrusive

User Research & Strategy

  • Conduct end‑user interviews and discovery sessions with early adopters and partners
  • Analyze feedback to deeply understand user needs and pain points
  • Define user journeys, personas, user stories, and sitemaps
  • Assist the executive team in UI/UX review meetings and help structure decision logs

Design, Prototyping & Iteration

  • Create wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and storyboards
  • Run usability tests, gather feedback, and iterate on designs

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Collaborate closely with developers, product leads, and other stakeholders
  • Maintain organized Figma files, component libraries, and documentation

Key skills & qualifications

Proactivity & Ownership

  • We’re a small, young startup where almost everything is still to be built
  • You’re comfortable starting from scratch, proposing ideas, and driving them forward
  • You take initiative while communicating and iterating with the team

Interest in Smart Homes & AI

  • Curious about how people live with technology
  • Excited to make that relationship more human, intuitive, and delightful

Proficiency with Design & Prototyping Tools

  • Strong experience with Figma (or equivalent)
  • Comfortable with component systems, design systems, and interactive prototypes
  • Bonus: familiarity with motion/animation tools

Great Portfolio

  • A portfolio showcasing UX process and polished UI
  • Ideally includes complex flows or multi‑device experiences

Strong Communication

  • Able to explain design decisions clearly
  • Comfortable collaborating with non‑design stakeholders

Solid Experience in Web Apps & End‑User Products

  • Shipped UX/UI for real products, ideally web apps or consumer interfaces
  • Can demonstrate how you solved user problems end‑to‑end

Nice to have (optional)

  • Experience with motion design and micro‑interactions
  • Experience designing characters/mascots or “living” interfaces
  • Background in gamified experiences or habit‑forming products
  • Experience in early‑stage startups or zero‑to‑one environments
